Although our services cover all aspects of IT for all industries, we excel in providing cybersecurity services to the healthcare industry through a defined, standardized, compliant process; individual and organizational credentials; and first-hand industry experience. Our Humble Beginnings

2002

Our CEO, Thomas Mandry, grew up the son of a hard-working father who owned and operated Tom Mandry Electric, which is still around today as TM Electric. For 40 years, Tom cut no corners, made no excuses, and always kept his word. This high integrity, no nonsense approach was the bedrock his company was built on.

Tom instilled this strong work ethic in Thomas, but unlike his father, Thomas wasn’t interested in transformers, breakers, voltage, or learning about the commercial electric business. Instead, he built computers, configured and installed servers, and read every IT-related study guide he could get his hands on. His passion for technology led him to start his own company.

Thomas officed for free out of a small space in the back of his father’s electrical business, printed 1,000 business cards, and started Mandry Technology Solutions with a flip phone and laptop. He had one office employee at first and later began hiring engineers, but Thomas was primarily responsible for selling, installing, and supporting services for all clients. His ingenuity and impeccable work ethic laid the foundation for our future success.

2004

Believing the internet would shape the future of business communications, we partnered with Verizon to add telecommunications services to our offering, allowing us to install and manage high speed internet connections and IP-based phones. We became the first telecommunications company to sell internet circuits. This offering was known as Mandry Data Solutions at first, later became Claritive Communications, and is known as Mandry CONNECT today.

2005

Knowing the limitations and risks associated with traditional data backup, we became the first company in west Texas to offer online/offsite data backup and disaster recovery services with servers here and in Dallas. Originally called Texas Data Vault, this is our Mandry CLOUD offering today.

2006

With the company’s growing success and an increasing demand for outsourced IT services, it was time to relocate the office. Thomas purchased land in south Lubbock and broke ground in November. Soon after breaking ground, United Supermarkets purchased the neighboring lot, then Texas Retina Associates moved in next door, and the area began to boom with Lubbock business.

2007

We relocated to our new office on 98th Street, which made us the first IT company in Lubbock to operate from a freestanding building. Although the company consisted of only four employees at the time, the new building was an investment in the organization’s future growth.

2012

This was a pivotal year for us. We launched our IT Business Partner Services model, which included five dedicated teams and a CIO strategy for all clients. This effectively changed our business model from a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) to a true MSP. We became focused on providing proactive services rather than reactive break-fix services. The new model offered organizational stability and we began to see the true scope of the company’s potential.

2013

By this time, we had about 20 employees total. The sixth annual publication from MSPmentor® and publisher Nine Lives Media announced its list of the top 501 MSPs worldwide, and we were proud to be included.

2017

We celebrated our 15th year in business and were ranked a top 500 global leading MSP for the fifth consecutive year.

Additionally, CRN®, a brand of the Channel Company, named us to its Next Gen 250 list, which recognizes standout IT solution providers who have successfully transformed their business to meet the demands of emerging technologies such as cloud consumption, IoT, virtualization, mobility, business analytics, and business intelligence.

2018

We opened an office in Plano, Texas, extending our world-class capabilities to the Dallas/Fort Worth areas. We were also named to the CRN MSP 500 list, which recognizes North American solution providers with cutting-edge approaches to managed services.

2019

We were named to the CRN Tech Elite 250, which is comprised of solution providers in the U.S. and Canada who have the highest level and most certifications from Amazon, Cisco, Dell, HPE, Oracle and VMware.

2020

We were ranked as one of the top 100 MSPs in the World on the Channel Futures™ MSP 501 Top 100, the world’s largest and most comprehensive survey and ranking list in the IT channel.

2021

We ranked #55 on the 2021 Channel Futures MSP 501, moving up 23 spaces from #78 in 2020. This marked our 9th consecutive year on the list and the second year in a row in the top 100.
