Network Engineer
JOB PROFILE
The Network Engineer is responsible for the support of our client’s end users, troubleshooting and correcting of issues within servers, networks, end user devices and storage equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Basic Requirements:
- Proven track record of being a problem solver and team player capable of working in a technically-challenging environment
- Provide remote and on-site support to our clients
- Effectively interact via verbal and written communications with our clients’ end-users
A minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration, configuration and troubleshooting, with a basic working knowledge of:
- Enterprise Level, Multi-Tier Service Desk environment
- DNS/DHCP support
- PC and Server support
- Virtualization tools (VMware is a plus)
- Windows, IIS and SQL server administration
- Configuring and troubleshooting email services including SMTP, POP, IMAP, Exchange
- Server-class hardware including RAID hardware
Preferred Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, MIS, ISQS
- Current technical certifications with one or more of the following companies: Cisco, Citrix, Microsoft, VMware, ShoreTel
