Network Engineer
The Network Engineer is responsible for the support of our clients' end users and troubleshooting and correcting issues within servers, networks, end user devices, and storage equipment.
Qualifications & Required Experience
Basic Requirements
- Proven track record of being a problem solver and team player capable of working in a technically-challenging environment
- Provide remote and on-site support to our clients
- Effectively interact via verbal and written communications with our clients’ end-users
- A minimum of two years experience in network administration, configuration, and troubleshooting, with a basic working knowledge of:
- Enterprise-level, multi-tier service desk environment
- DNS/DHCP support
- PC and server support
- Virtualization tools (VMware is a plus)
- Windows, IIS, and SQL server administration
- Configuring and troubleshooting email services including SMTP, POP, IMAP, and Exchange
- Server-class hardware including RAID hardware
Preferred Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, MIS, or ISQS
- Current technical certifications with one or more of the following companies: Cisco, Citrix, Microsoft, VMware, ShoreTel
