Technology Consultant

The Technology Consultant is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of the technology vision, goals, and initiatives that support the long term objectives and mission of our clients. 

The Technology Consultant also functions as a project officer for large scale IT deployments. This includes providing strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, coordination, and monitoring of program/project milestones.

Qualifications & Required Experience

Basic Requirements

• Proven track record of being a problem solver and team player capable of working in a technically-challenging environment
• Experience analyzing complex technology problems and developing recommendations and solutions that are understood in business terms
• Experience developing technology strategy with a clear vision of how to use technology to improve productivity, performance, and delivery of service
• Proven record of effectively communicating at all organizational levels
• A minimum of three years managing functions and departments dealing with information handling, work flow, and systems
• Strong technical skills in the design, implementation, troubleshooting, and support of multi-vendor computing environments
• Excellent knowledge of advanced technologies including mobile computing, data warehousing, and health information exchange
• Ability to perform needs assessment, facilitation of project implementation, and organizational change or development
• Experience in driving change at a strategic level with tangible business results

Preferred Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, MIS, ISQS, Business Administration, or a related field
• Current Technical or Technical Sales certifications with one or more of the following companies: Cisco, Citrix, Microsoft, VMware, Meru, ShoreTel
